Establish a Learning Bank; Promote Transformation of Development Strategy

China Everbright Bank is committed to strengthening training, promoting paradigm change, initiating innovative business philosophy so as to seek successful business transformation.In the first half of this year, the Bank cooperated with foreign capital banks and successfully held three terms of training classes for senior managers, including leadership level at the head office, department managers and general managers of branches.The training focused on development strategies during the transitioning period, signifying that CEB is one step closer towards establishing a learning bank and promoting the transformation of development strategies.

The three terms of training held were systematic and in-depth, centering on various themes: how to promote comprehensive risk management, construct long term effective development mechanism and achieve the transformation of business strategies in the course of stable development. The training can further enhance the management quality and capability of CEB¡¯s senior managers, so that they can establish a better international perspective.Furthermore, through these trainings, senior managers can have a better understanding of the business philosophy, business strategy and brand strategy of international commercial banks, establishing a clearer view of the development trend of the international financial market and its impact on China¡¯s banking sector, knowing the preventive measures that banks should take when encountering various financial risks.Therefore, the training lays a solid foundation for the realization of the Bank¡¯s long term goal of establishing an excellent bank.

Not only are senior managers being trained, since the beginning of this year, CEB has held training sessions for risk-management personnel, financing managers, product managers, client managers, asset-safeguard personnel, international business personnel, auditing professionals and new employees.From March to April, CEB held the first financial expert training session in Beijing; later in Hong Kong, a training session was held for senior managers on business operation for corporate business, and the session lasted 13 days; in June, CEB again held a training session for outstanding young managers (backup managers); trainings of this scale and scope are unprecedented.
