Recently, 18 local institutions of China Everbright Bank (CEB) were awarded the honor of “Demonstrative Chinese Banking Institution of Civil and Standard Service” in the “Campaign of Civil and Standard Service” co-organized by China Banking Association and the banking associations of provinces and municipalities, presenting a good corporate image and spiritual style.

    These 18 local institutions include: Xidan Sub-branch of the Banking Department of the Head Office, the Banking Department of Hefei Branch, Jiangbei Sub-branch of Chongqing, the Banking Department of Fuzhou Branch, the Banking Department of Guangzhou Branch, the Banking Department of Nanning Branch, Weilai Road Sub-branch of Zhengzhou, Harbin Development Zone Sub-branch of Heilongjiang, the Banking Department of Changsha Branch, Jianghan Sub-branch of Wuhan, the Banking Department of Changchun Branch, the Banking Department of Qingdao Branch, Shungeng Sub-branch of Jinan, Buyecheng Sub-branch of Shanghai, Babao Street Sub-branch of Chengdu, Hedong Sub-branch of Tianjin, the Banking Department of Xiamen Branch and the Banking Department of Hangzhou Branch.

    This campaign starting in June 2006 aimed at fully implementing the Civil Service Convention of China’s Banking Sector and its detailed implementing rules, promoting the civil and standard services in the Bank Month and sharpening the overall service quality and core competitiveness of the banking sector. The campaign is carried out in procedures of: application of member institutions, inspection & election by provincial and municipal banking associations, inspection by China Banking Association, review by the Self-Disciplinary Committee of China Banking Association and approval by the Standing Council.
