As of the end of November, 2006, the corporate online banking transactions of China Everbright Bank reached RMB1.67 trillion, an increase of 362% from the first half of the year and representing a new record after topping RMB1 trillion in August. This indicates a new step of the corporate online banking business in the year.
In recent years, with keen market perception, flexible mechanism controllability and a united business innovation team, China Everbright Bank took advantage of the construction of electronic finance and launched a series of innovative online banking products in China: (1) it was the first realizing ¡°Financial Non-Tax Financial Income Payment¡± system; (2) it was the first introducing ¡°Central Government Authorized Financial Payment Online Management¡± system; (3) it was the first completing the ¡°Treasury-Bank-Tax Express¡± system for online tax payment; and (4) it was the first launching ¡°Bank-Customs Guarantee¡± system.

These innovations created favorable conditions for the expansion of banking business and profits, earned a good fame from customers and built up the reputation of quality service.
The ¡°Bank-Customs Guarantee¡± system, launched on November 10, 2006, enables the enterprises to benefit from the ¡°Declaration before Tariff Payment¡± tax guarantee policy and is featured by ¡°24/7¡± around-the-clock clearance service and ¡°Inter-city Declaration and Tariff Payment¡±, meeting the import and export enterprises¡¯ demands on instant clearance and tax payment. While strengthening online banking innovation, China Everbright Bank attached high attention to the construction of online banking service brand; it launched the online banking brand ¨C E Road Sunshine to offer customers differentiated product services and meet their individualized needs. China Everbright Bank also paid adequate importance to the security of online banking transactions and took various effective measures to eliminate risks. In the ¡°2006 Year of Secure Online Banking Service¡± held by China Financial Certification Authority and 14 commercial banks, China Everbright Bank won the honor of ¡°Best Online Banking Customer Experience in China¡± for the year 2006. |
