¡ª¡ªExpert Wealth Management: Face Interest Rate Raise at Ease
After the People¡¯s Bank of China raised the interest rate for deposits and loans on August 19, China Everbright Bank, a leader in the wealth management market, immediately released an announcement, saying that it fully raised the expected yield of the on-sale Sunshine Wealth Management Package Plan and the Sunshine Wealth Management Plan T to be launched. Such fast response reflects the efficient work mechanism and professional treasury operation ability of the bank.
With a term of one year, the Sunshine Wealth Management Package Plan issued by China Everbright Bank recently mainly invests in RMB structural wealth management products and trust investment wealth management products, with each accounting for a percentage of 50%. In consideration of the interest rate increase, China Everbright Bank raised the expected yield of RMB structural products by 27%, so that customers may earn extra revenue from the wealth management and increase the comprehensive yield of products.
a Meanwhile, the Sunshine Wealth Management Plan T left room for the increase of interest rate at the beginning of design. After the interest rate increase, China Everbright Bank increased the annual yield of Plan T to 3.5%, much higher than the average expected yield of similar wealth management products on sale.
Looking back, China Everbright Bank faced the significant policy changes at ease, including the reduction of deposit reserve ratio, the appreciation of RMB exchange rate and the two cycles of interest rate increase, since it started issuing Sunshine Wealth Management product series in 2004. It quickly responded to the market changes and customer demands, and highlighted product innovation and service improvement, effecting protecting the investors¡¯ interests and maintaining a leading market share and brand image. Currently, to some customers, China Everbright Bank has become an elite and specialized bank of wealth management, and the Sunshine Wealth Management has become a brand business of the bank.
Data provided by China Everbright Bank shows that, the bank issued accumulatively 23 issues of Sunshine Wealth Management products in the first half of the year, with the sales volume reaching RMB28,132 million, an increase of 147% from the same period of last year. In May, the bank enhanced product publicity and customer communication; accordingly, the sales volume of wealth management products topped RMB6 million, nearly three times of that in the same period of last year.
In a market economy, the commercial competition rests with the respond speed rather than business scale. China Everbright Bank took another first move advantage when it immediately raised the expected yield of wealth management products after the increase of interest rate.
